The True Laser
Clinic List

Places across the US that we found online whose own websites say they use a true laser — an Alexandrite or an Nd:YAG laser, not IPL and not a diode-only setup. Search by your town, see who is near you.

This list now reaches all 50 states and DC — laser hair removal exists everywhere, and so do true lasers. It is still a growing list, not every clinic in America. It holds every location we have pulled so far from the big true-laser chains’ own location lists, plus independent clinics we found metro by metro. The chains themselves run far more locations than are entered here so far (Milan alone says 400+), and new entries are added as we verify them against clinics’ own websites. If your town comes up empty, widen the radius — and wherever you call, ask the question that matters: “Do you use an Alexandrite or a YAG laser?”

755 nmAlexandrite

The true laser most often used for lighter skin tones. If a clinic’s site names Alexandrite, it has a true laser.

1064 nmNd:YAG

The true laser most often used for brown, deep, or tanned skin. If a clinic’s site names Nd:YAG (or “YAG”), it has a true laser.

DualBoth in one device

Platforms like the Candela GentleMax Pro, Cynosure Elite / Elite iQ, Lutronic Clarity II, and Lumenis Splendor X carry both wavelengths, so the clinic can match the laser to you.

Clinics close, move, and swap machines. If a listing here looks wrong, tell us — every report is investigated before anything changes, and the list is only updated once a report is verified.

The Mom Test: we’ll call them for you

Found a clinic on this list and want to know if they’re the real deal before you book? With the Mom Test, we call the clinic the way a careful mom would — we ask which machine and wavelength they’d use on you, how they time visits around your hair growth, and what happens if you arrive with no regrowth — then we send you a plain-English report on what they said.

It’s called the Mom Test because moms ask the hardest questions. It’s how you get the best results, in the least time, with safety, great care, and comfort — without having to make the awkward calls yourself.
